Marinda was born about 1834 in Indiana.1 Marinda's father was Jacob Buckles and her mother was Mary Ann COOK. Her paternal grandparents were John Buckles and Frances Wallingford. She had a brother and five sisters, named Jacob Cook, Mary Margaret, Sarah Ann, Charlotte E., Louisa J. and Malvina. She was the second oldest of the seven children.-
