Thornton BROWNING Sr. 
Thornton was born on November 13th, 1872. Thornton's father was William Toliver BROWNING and his mother was Elizabeth Jane MILLER. His paternal grandparents were Elijah BROWNING and Harriet M. CLEVELAND. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Chelton Allen, Harrison Oliver, Elijah Henry, Early, Joseph, Asa K., Charles, Talitha J. and Cora. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 86 in 1958.-
