Absalom A. BLUE 
Absalom A. was born about 1847 in Galesburg, Knox Co., Illinois.1 Absalom A.'s father was John Salter BLUE and his mother was Elizabeth VANDEVEER. His paternal grandparents were David BLUE and Phoebe WALLINGFORD. He had a brother and a sister, named Bailey Regan and Cynthia Ann. He was the oldest of the three children. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William Martin, Perry Lewis, John L., Andrew Jackson, Milton, Alvina, Clara and Sarah. He died on April 19th, 1919 in Knoxville, Knox Co., Illinois.1 General Notes
