Benjamin Reeder BENNETT 
Benjamin Reeder was born on February 4th, 1825 in Mason Co., Kentucky.1 Benjamin Reeder's father was William BENNETT and his mother was Martha MURPHY. His maternal grandparents were James MURPHY and Phoebe WALLINGFORD. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John Saulter, David Blue, Calvin Asbury, Pressley Toler, Mary Blue, Hannah, Amy and Sarah Nellie. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 92 on September 18th, 1917 in Monroe, Iowa. He was buried in Jordon Cemetery, Walnut, Iowa.2 3 General Notes
BIOGRAPHY: Farmer of 420 acres in Ashawa, section 16 of Polk County, Iowa. Besides this he owned a farm of 300 acres, one of the best stock farms in the township. At three years of age moved from Mason county, Kentucky to Parke county, Indiana, where he lived until he moved to Polk County, in the summer of 1847.
1870&1880 censes: Farmer in Walnut, Polk Co., Iowa with $15,600 real estate and $6,672 personal property in 1870.
