Darius II was born in 475 BC.1 Darius II's father was Artaxerxes I Persia and his mother was Kosmartydene. His paternal grandparents were Xerses I Ahasuerus Persia and Esther Hadassah. He had a half-sister named Parysatis. He died in 404 BC in Babylon.1 General Notes
