Sylvester E. Simmons

Sylvester E. was born in 1863 in Van Buren Co, TN. Sylvester E.'s father was Joseph Henry Knox Simmons and his mother was Susan M. Ramsey. His paternal grandparents were Joseph N. Simmons and Mary Elizabeth 'Betty' Lewis. He had a brother and three sisters, named Joseph L., Mary A., Stacy J. and Eva Lee. He was the oldest of the five children.
