Bertha Jewell Shockley

Bertha Jewell was born on December 29th, 1912 in Van Buren Co, TN. Bertha Jewell's father was James Monroe Shockley and her mother was Eva Lee Simmons. Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Henry Knox Simmons and Susan M. Ramsey. She had three brothers and a sister, named Powell Tandy, Fred Ethelbert, Beauford Curtis and Virginia Belle. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 81 on March 29th, 1994 in Spencer, Van Buren Co, TN.
