James E. Roberts

James E. was born on February 2nd, 1846 in Robertson Co, TN.¹ James E.'s father was Jesse Roberts and his mother was Elizabeth Williams. His paternal grandparents were Ephraim Roberts and Nancy Harris. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Zachary Taylor, Thomas V., Julia, R. S., Cornelia, Jane and Jessie. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 78 on December 24th, 1924 in Gainesville, Cooke Co, TX.¹
