James B. Roberts

James B. was born in March 1888 in Granville Co, NC.¹ James B.'s father was Edward P. Roberts and his mother was Frances Forsyth. His paternal grandparents were George Pygram Roberts and Ailcy Jones. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named McKenzie, William Tilden, Thadius, Jasper, John E., Vasser Floyd, Lonnie Smith, Nancy, Leana, Lula Belle, Emma R. and Infant Daughter. He was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children.¹
