Francis Marion 'Frank' was born on June 16th, 1857 in Orange Co, NC.1   Francis Marion 'Frank''s father was Oswell Kinion Proctor and his mother was Sarah Jane Barbee.  His maternal grandparents were John Barbee and Sally Roberts. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Jonathan Richard 'John', Oswell Kinion, William 'Wesley' Henry, James Sidney Harris, Sarah, Malinda 'Linda' E. and Henrietta Frances.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 30 on February 18th, 1888.  He was buried in Oswell Kinion Proctor Family Cemetery, Durham, Durham Co, NC.1
