Nathaniel Ward Hicks

Nathaniel Ward was born on July 25th, 1914 in Person Co, NC. Nathaniel Ward's father was William Archie Hicks and his mother was Phoebe Anna Riley. His paternal grandparents were David Alfred Hicks and Sarah Ann Rhew. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Albert Floyd, William David, Eligah Graham, Riley Garrett, Phoebe Anne, Rosa King, Elizabeth 'Elizah' and Sallie F.. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 63 on June 30th, 1978 in Person Co, NC.
