Sarah Ellen Grant

Sarah Ellen was born on December 2nd, 1894 in Surry Co, NC.¹ Sarah Ellen's father was Ulysses Simmons Grant and her mother was Lucinda Bullen. Her paternal grandparents were Milton Powell Grant and Sara Elizabeth Simmons. She had two brothers and two sisters, named William Alfred, Ernest Lenford, Maude Louvenia and Dora Mae. She was the second youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 73 on May 8th, 1968 in Eden, Rockingham Co, NC. She was buried on May 11th, 1968 in Woodlawn Cemetery, Eden, Rockingham Co, NC.¹
