Chivis Preston Goforth

Chivis Preston was born on October 8th, 1874 in Hamilton Co, TX. Chivis Preston's father was William Harrison Henry Goforth and his mother was Rebecca Fritzgerald. His paternal grandparents were William Clayton Goforth and Jane Christina Houser. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Ambrose, David Crocket, Alma Hope and Rebecca. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 87 on January 6th, 1962 in Jacksonville, Cherokee Co, TX. He was buried in Tolar Cemetery, Hood Co, TX.
