George Elder

George was born in 1841 in Grayson Co, KY. George's father was William Elder and his mother was Frances Sirles. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Sirles and Martha Roberts. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Isaac P., Henry, William, Squire, Patsy J. and Catherine. He was the second oldest of the seven children.
