Felix G. 'Pope' was born on June 22nd, 1852 in Henderson Co, TN.  Felix G. 'Pope''s father was Thomas C. Cary and his mother was Mary C. 'Polly' Harris.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Cary and Elizabeth Roberts. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William Alexander 'Pope', James H., Joseph W., Samuel T., Nancy J. 'Pope', Dicy E. 'Pope' and Paralee Pilina 'Pope'.  He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Alvin and Frances Elizabeth.  He died at the age of 58 on April 16th, 1911 in Howard Co, AR.  He was buried on April 18th, 1911 in Mineral Springs Cemetery, Howard Co, AR.
