Count Friedrich of Zollern II

Friedrich was born about 1095 in Zollern, Wessingen, Hohaenzollern, Prussia.¹ Friedrich's father was Count Friedrich of Zollern I and his mother was Countess Udihild of Zollern and Urach. His paternal grandparents were Burkard von Zolorin I and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Count Egino of Urach II and <Unknown>. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Burkhard, Egino, Ulrich, Gottfried, Adalbert, Udihild, Emma and Luitgard. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died in 1145.¹
