Eorik's father was King Theodoric (The Brave) of the Visigoths I and his mother was Amalberge. His paternal grandparents were King Alaric of the Visigoths I and Galla Placida Rome. He had a brother named Theodoric. He died at the age of 64 in July 0484.¹
