Countess Sofie of the Mark

Sofie was born about 1245 in Koln, Rheinland, Prussia.¹ Sofie's father was Count Engelbert of the Mark I and her mother was Kunigunde von Bliescastel. She had a brother and a sister, named Eberhard and Agnes. She was the oldest of the three children.
