Porcelos' father was Count of Castile Rodrigo de Leon I and his mother was Sancha Diez de las Asturias. His paternal grandparents were King of Asturias Ramiro Bermudez de Leon I and Urraca of Castile. He had a sister named de Castile. He died at the age of 35 in 0885.¹
