Eschyna was born about 1125 in Paisley Abbey, Renfrewshire, Scotland.1   Eschyna's father was Thomas de Londoniis and her mother was Eschelyn de Molle.  Her paternal grandparents were William of Ogmore and Kidwelly de Londres and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Uchtred de Molle and <Unknown>. She had two brothers named Malcolm and Philip.
