Stephen de Meynell

Stephen was born about 1098 in Whorlton-in-Cleveland, Stokesley, Yorkshire, England.¹ Stephen's father was Robert de Meynell and his mother was Gertrude Fossard. His maternal grandparents were Nele Fossard and Osceria. He had two brothers named Gilbert and Robert. He was the oldest of the three children. He died in 1145.¹
