Aschetil was born about 1089 in Bulmer, North Riding, Yorkshire, England.1   Aschetil's father was Alan de Bulmer and his mother was <Unknown>.  His paternal grandparents were Henry de Bulmer Lord of Bulmer and Brancepeth and <Unknown>.  He was an only child.  He died in 1122 in Brancpeth, Durhamshire, England.1
