William was born about 1225 in Birmingham, Worcestershire, England.1   William's father was Robert de Birmingham and his mother was <Unknown>.  He was an only child.  He died as a war casualty, Battle of Evesham, on August 4th, 1265 in Evesham, Worcestershire, England.1
