Margery, known as Margaet, was born on December 12th, 1648 in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts.1   Margaet's father was Bray Wilkins and her mother was Hannah Gingell.  Her paternal grandparents were John Wilkins and Anna. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Samuel, John, Thomas, Henry, Benjamin, James, Aquila and Lydia.  She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
