Njord was born in 0228 in Noatun, Sweden.¹

Njord's father was Odin or Woden and his mother was Friege, Frigg, Frea de Siluria. His paternal grandparents were Frithuwald or Bor and Beltsa; his maternal grandparents were Cadwalladr ap Lewfer Mawr and <Unknown>. He had eight brothers named Winta, Skjold, Baeldaeg, Wecta With I, Casere, Seaxneat, Waegdagg and Wihtlaeg. He was the oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother named Saeming.
