William Skaggs

William was born on August 25th, 1804. William's father was William Skaggs and his mother was Polly Pierce. His paternal grandparents were James Skaggs and Mary Thompson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Fielding, Jeremiah, Stephen, Henry, Rachel, Libby, Louisa and Eliza. He was the oldest of the nine children. He had three half-sisters named Elizabeth, Mary and Nancy.
