Leofric Mercia

Leofric was born about 1025 in Mercia, England.¹ Leofric's father was Hereward (le Wake) Mercia and his mother was Torfrida de Arles. His paternal grandparents were Leofric (The Great) Mercia III and Godgifu of Coventry. He had a brother and a sister, named Hereward and Thurfrida. He was the oldest of the three children.
