Elizabeth McCoy

Elizabeth was born in 1787 in Bedford Co., Virginia.¹ Elizabeth's father was William McCoy and her mother was Joanna Payne. Her paternal grandparents were William McCoy Sr. and Ann; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Payne and <Unknown>. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, John, Jubal, Nancy, Joanna, Zilpa, Letha and Mary. She was the third oldest of the nine children.
