William Hesketh

¹ William's father was William Hesketh and his mother was Annabilla de Stafford. His paternal grandparents were Richard de Heskayth and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Richard de Stafford and Annabilla. He was an only child.

General Notes
- William Heskayth, to whom, in 55 Henry III, Richard, son-in-law of Richard Totleworth, gave lands in marriage with his daughter and heiress. William was the father of Sir William Heskayte, knt. lord of Heskayte and Beconsawe, 4 Edward I., who married Matilda, daughter and coheir of Richard Fytton, and had all the lands of the other coheir by gift as explained in the history of Croston parish.
