Miles Marian Beatty

Miles was born on October 6th, 1832 in Grayson Co., Kentucky.¹ Miles' father was John P. Beatty and his mother was Elmina McGrew. His paternal grandparents were William Beatty and Delilah Pirtle; his maternal grandparents were Reed McGrew and Mary (Polly) Fulkerson. He had four brothers and a sister, named William, Adam, John, Andrew and Delilah. He was the fifth oldest of the six children. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John, William, James, Henry, Emily and Nancy.¹
