John Anderson

John was born in 1579 in Dowhill, Glasgow, Scotland.¹ John's father was Ninian Anderson and his mother was Elizabeth Reid. His paternal grandparents were John Anderson Jr. and Janet Andrew. He had three brothers named Alexander, Ninian and William. He was the oldest of the four children.
