Robert Filby was laid to rest in the Washington Cemetery. WashingtonObserver Obituary, Monday, May 25, 1914 for Robert Filby: The body ofRobert Filby, aged 65 years, who died at Perryopolis Saturday morning,will arrive in Washington this morning about 11 o'clock and takendirectly to the Wshington cemetery where short services will be heldand the internment will be. Mr. Filby was born in Greene County. Heleaves following children: Mrs. Albert Sickles, George and WinfieldFilby and Mrs. Clara Foster, all of Washington and William Filby, ofWashington, R.D. (3 or 8) and Mrs. A. Donahoo, of near Scenery Hill.
