Haynes], and the eniment Puritan divines, Cotton and Hooker. For a time, he lived on the Haynes farm with his friend, as his advisor and secretary. When his younger brother, Matthew, came to New England, he settled with him [Matthew] at Hingham. He never married. He was blind for 25 years before his death, which occurred Mar. 24, 1679.
