Joseph Swain 
Joseph was born on August 18th, 1791.1 Joseph's mother was Mary (Polly) Cook. His maternal grandfather was Joseph Cook. He had three brothers and nine sisters, named Stephen, James, John C, Eliza, Hannah, Mary Cook, Margaret, Sarah, Susan, Caroline, Lydia and Mahala. He died at the age of 70 in April 1862 in New Bedford, MA.1 -
