John Preston

John was born in 1806 in Lyman, Jeff. Co., NY.¹ John's father was Silas Lyman and his mother was Parnee Brown. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Lyman and Widow Foster; his maternal grandfather was William B. Brown. He had six brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Silas, Calvin, Luther, William B., Benjamin F., Orin, Parnee, Parthenia and Vashti. He died in Pulaski.¹
