Sarah Ponsford 
Sarah was born in 1862 in Elgin Co., Ontario, Canada.1 Sarah's father was George Ponsford and her mother was Sarah Clarke. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named James M., Herman, George A., John C., Henry T., Albert, Emmanuel E., Mary A. and Charlotte Elizabeth Alma. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.1
