Sarah was born on May 3rd, 1700 in Windsor, CT.¹ Sarah's father was Nathaniel Owen and her mother was Sarah Palmer. Her paternal grandparents were John Owen and Rebecca Wade; her maternal grandparents were Timothy Palmer and Hannah Buell. She had a brother and four sisters, named Nathaniel, Anne, Anne, Abner and Hannah.¹
