James Hawes 
James was born on December 18th, 1664.1 James' father was Obadiah Hawes and his mother was Mary Humphrey. His paternal grandparents were Richard Hawes and Ann Unknown; his maternal grandfather was Elder James Humphrey. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Obadiah, Ebenezer, Richard, Mary, Desire and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the seven children.1 -
