Francis Griswold 
Francis was born in 1635 in Kenilworth, England and his baptism took place in 1635 in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, England.1 2 Francis' father was Edward Griswold and his mother was Sarah Bemis. His paternal grandparents were George Griswold and Dousabel Leigh; his maternal grandfather was James Bemis. He had four brothers and five sisters, named George, Samuel, John, Joseph, Lydia, Ann, Mary, Deborah and Sarah. He died at the age of 36 in October 1671 in Norwich, CT.3 -
