Margery Gibbs 
Margery was born about 1707 in East Windsor, Connecticut.1 Margery's father was Samuel Gibbs and her mother was Mary Winchell. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Gibbs and Hepzibah Dibble; her maternal grandparents were Nathaniel Winchell and Sarah Porter. She had two brothers named Samuel and Giles. She was the youngest of the three children.1 General Notes

Margery Gibbs (unconfirmed). A Margery Gibbs of East Windsor (b. abt 1707) m. Joseph Baker III, January 21, 1730 of Tolland, Conn. The parents of this Margery Gibbs who married Joseph Baker III have been sought, without success. Extensive recent searches have also failed. However, Samuel Gibbs Jr. & Mary Winchell are possible her parents because, (1) the Samuel Gibbs Jr. family was the only Gibbs family in East Windsor about 1700-1710 and (2) the names given her children, Seth and Titus, suggest a connection. Samuel Gibbs Jr. called Seth, as a nickname, possibly to distinguish him from hjis father. Joseph Baker III was born April 19, 1703, Windsor, son of Joseph Baker Jr. & Hannah Pomeroy. He died 1780.
