Donald R. was born about 1908 in Chillicothe, MO.¹ Donald R.'s father was George Thomas Gann and his mother was Florence Geneve Dunn. His paternal grandparents were Ananias Gann and Sarah Breeze; his maternal grandparents were Rufus K. Dunn and Sarah Hale. He had five brothers named Louis R., William K., Elston F., Lester G. and Coval H.. He was the oldest of the six children. He died in Apache Junction, AZ (?).¹
