Catharine Cassel was born in 1759.1   Catharine Cassel's father was Christen Funk and her mother was Barbara Cassel.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Funk and Anna Meyer; her maternal grandfather was Yellis Cassel.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 67 in 1826.1
