Elizabeth Frey 
Elizabeth was born on December 18th, 1793 in York,York,Pa..1 Elizabeth's father was Henry Frey and her mother was Barbara Baumgartner. Her paternal grandparents were Gottfried Frey and Maria Margaretha Linn; her maternal grandfather was Henry Baumgartner. She had nine brothers and six sisters, named John, David, Joseph, Samuel, Jacob, Henry, Enoch, George, Simeon, Katharina, Polly, Barbara, Nancy, Martha and Anna. She was the third oldest of the sixteen children. She died at the age of 38 on May 3rd, 1832 in ,Crawford,Pa..1 General Notes

"Sad and simple is the story of this third child of Henry.Born under the sign of the Crab, so her father recorded her birth on dec. 18,1793. She was the second of "mother's helpers" on the pilgrimage across the mountains.In early life she was engaged to a patriot of 1812, who died for his country. Elizabeth was noted for her fine weaving of linens , as well as wools. She lost her "SWEETHEART" with "PERRY ON LAKE ERIE" and she remained true to his memory until her death on May 3,1832."
