Theodore Gibbs Dewey 
Theodore Gibbs was born on February 10th, 1859 in Montpelier, VT.1 Theodore Gibbs' father was Edward Dewey and his mother was Susan Griggs Lilley. His paternal grandparents were Julius Yemans Dewey and Mary Perrin; his maternal grandparents were Gibbs Lilley and Susan Elizabeth Griggs. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Julius Edward, Jessie Lilley, Helen Griggs and Margaret Louise. He was the second oldest of the six children.1 -
