Robert Martin Dewey 
Robert Martin was born on May 31st, 1836 in Hanover, Graft., NH.1 Robert Martin's father was Andrew Dewey and his mother was Sally Martin. His paternal grandparents were William Dewey and Rebecca Carrier. He had two sisters named Harriet Pinneo and Rebecca Carrier. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Samuel Mills, John Adams, Joseph, Julius Pinneo, Eliza, Lucretia, Tryphenia and Lucinda. He died at the age of 28 on August 6th, 1864 in Near Atlanta, GA while in the Army.1 -
