Orville Dewey 
Orville was born on April 24th, 1840 in Berlin, VT.1 Orville's father was Osman Dewey and his mother was Mrs. Rebecca (Davis) Farwell. His paternal grandparents were Simeon Dewey and Prudence Yemans; his maternal grandparents were Jacob Davis and Katy Taplin. He had two sisters named Betsey Ann and Marion Rebecca. He was the youngest of the three children. He had three half-brothers named Francis Osman, Denison and Simeon.1 -
