Julia Paulina was born on August 9th, 1814 in Berlin, VT.1 Julia Paulina's father was William Dewey and her mother was Abigail Flagg. Her paternal grandparents were William Dewey and Rebecca Carrier; her maternal grandparents were William Flagg and Abigail Black. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William, Oliver, Samuel, Lucy, Parthenia, Abigail, Sarah Emaline and Laura. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.1 -
