Catherine Elizabeth was born on April 5th, 1826 in Hanover, Graft., NH.1 Catherine Elizabeth's father was Joseph Langdon Dewey and her mother was Betsey Walker. Her paternal grandparents were Simeon Dewey and Elizabeth Turner. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Gardner Walter, Joseph B., Joseph Willard, Cornelia Elizabeth and Sarah Ann. She was the third youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 59 on November 26th, 1885 in San Francisco, CA.1 -
