Amanda Dewey 
Amanda was born about 1820.1 Amanda's father was Sanford Smith Dewey and her mother was Mary Crawford. Her paternal grandparents were Josiah Dewey and Hannah Babcock. She had five brothers and five sisters, named James C., William Francis, Sanford Josiah, John Sanford, Robert C., Martha, Sarah Ann, Huldah Mary, Henrietta and Louisa Jane. She was the oldest of the eleven children.1 -
