Thomas Chamberlain 
Thomas was born on December 21st, 1818 in Welton, Northamptonshire, Eng..1 Thomas' father was Thomas Chamberlain and his mother was Sarah Checkley. His paternal grandparents were John Chamberlain and Ann Eales; his maternal grandparents were George Checkley and Dorcas Tomlin. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, George Checkley, Richard, Rebecca and Sarah Ann. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 70 on March 27th, 1889 in Avondale, New Zealand.1 -
